  • Technophobe with a computer and daily ongoings

Here's the deal. I've never really been one to use a computer, at all, actually, I'm a technophobe. Despite that, I, Mark, is at the moment sitting at our computer typing this.

It's been a great month, our main stable is finally starting to get finished and we've already started on fixing up our breeding facility and some other additions to our center and the equine community around here. When it comes to our horses, Vera is busy with preparing NEC Winter Blossom for both the Western Pleasure Show at SMF and St. James Equestrian's Mare Show, as well as working on the dressage with LEC Hennessey's Heir and taking care of everything over at the breeding facility. I've taken over the care and training of HAF Mambo for the time being, as well as my companion NEC Arion. With Arion I'm mostly working on the dressage and western, as well as training for future stallion shows that may appear.

With Vera being so busy, I decided to put my technophobic trait to the back of my mind and write this. I also wanted to tell you about a new staff member of ours, Maria G. Malone, a veterinarian in profession, originally from Norway, who is going to take over the daily care and responsibility at the breeding facility, as well as working closely with Vera when it comes to preparing Blossom for the mare show. According to Vera she's supposed to arrive at noon tomorrow, so I guess we'll see a lot to her from then on.

Written by the man who's not going to touch this computer again for quite some time,

Vera Nicobar and NEC Winter Blossom

  • Work In Progress

The last few days I've been working on changing our website, from blogspot to moonfruit, which I'm glad to announce is more or less finished now. We have also rebuilt our whole equestrian center, which there will be pictures off in a later post. The stable isn't 100 % finished yet, but at least we have been able to move back in.

I'm going to be gone for a few days (IRL), watching the Arctic Equestrian Games 2012 and help out under the arrangement. Can't wait to get there, but this also means that I'll have to finish the site next weekend, seeing as I've got some more text to add at some sites and set up the horse profiles.
